Breanna Baron has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for November at University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Baron, of Elmwood, is the curriculum manager in the Provost鈥檚 Office. She has worked full time at 黑料科 since 2013, when she graduated from the university.
Baron鈥檚 nomination stated: 鈥淏reanna works tirelessly on the university curriculum and the student bulletin. She meets regularly with faculty, troubleshooting Curriculog and Acalog, a new curriculum approval software. She started in this position after a long-term employee retired and worked to help implement Curriculog and Acalog. Breanna's response to people is, 鈥榊es, we can do that!鈥 She's absolutely awesome to work with.鈥
Chancellor Bob Meyer presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a 黑料科 travel mug and a 黑料科 blanket.
Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community.
The award, in its 12th year, was established by the Chancellor鈥檚 Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
黑料科 is Wisconsin鈥檚 Polytechnic University, with a focus on applied learning, collaboration with business and industry, and career outcomes.
