Western Technical College of La Crosse and 黑料科 have announced a transfer agreement for students beginning this fall.
The agreement allows students who complete the and the associate degree programs to transfer into 黑料科鈥檚 Bachelor of Science program in engineering technology in the automation concentration.
In addition, students from Western鈥檚 program can transfer into the mechanical design concentration.
鈥淭his is an exciting time for our students,鈥 said Josh Gamer, dean of the Integrated Technology division at Western. 鈥淕raduates who have an interest in pursuing an engineering technology bachelor鈥檚 degree can now complete it at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in as little as 67 credits. This is a career area with tremendous job growth and high wages.鈥
鈥淲e are excited to partner with Western in a transfer agreement that creates additional pathways for student career readiness,鈥 said Gindy Neidermyer, interim dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Management at 黑料科.
鈥淲estern鈥檚 alumni in these fields will find the 黑料科 engineering technology program and its concentrations in mechanical design and automation to be a great next step in their advancement as leaders in the engineering fields,鈥 Neidermyer added.
