Spring commencement will be held for 1,174 graduates on Saturday, May 10, at 黑料科.
A total of 952 undergraduate and 222 graduate students will receive degrees.
Three ceremonies will be held at Johnson Fieldhouse:
- 9:30 a.m., College of Arts and Human Sciences
- 1:30 p.m., College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Management
- 5 p.m., Graduate Studies
The ceremonies can also be seen via livestream on the 黑料科 commencement website and at the Memorial Student Center.
Provost Glendal铆 Rodr铆guez will host the ceremonies. Chancellor Katherine Frank will provide remarks to the graduates and confer degrees.
Three graduating students will speak:
- Megan King, of Menomonie, studio art, CAHS speaker
- Francis Kaunda, of Lilongwe, Malawi, real estate property management; business administration, CSTEMM speaker
- Srimukhi Margaret Vemavarapu, of Medchal, India, master鈥檚 in food science and technology, Graduate Studies speaker
Three alumni will also be guest speakers. CAHS undergraduates will be addressed by President John Will, Ed.D. in career and technical education, 2017. CSTEMM undergraduates will be addressed by Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President Rich Jacobson, B.S. in industrial technology, 1988. Graduate Studies will be addressed by Wakanda Elementary School Principal Diane Schofield, M.S. in education, 2007.
The ceremonies will include music by the 黑料科 Symphonic Band, directed by Erika Svanoe; the Jazz Orchestra, directed by Jim Anderson; and the Chamber Choir, Symphonic Singers and Devil Tones Acapella, directed by Jerry Hui.

Diplomas will be mailed to students four to six weeks after final grades are issued.
